Story of The Month – Victoria Lungu

Story of The Month – Victoria Lungu
We’re excited to share our first Story of the Month, a series celebrating the individuals and organisations who are creatively reusing materials through the Resource Hub!
Each month, we’ll highlight the people and projects giving materials a meaningful second life, showing what reuse looks like in real spaces and real creative practice!
Our first story features, Victoria Lungu, co-creator of The Play Tent who has transformed her studio in Headingley using more than 20 items from The Hub. From Opera Norths astro-turf chairs and prop trees from Common Wealth Theatre, to staging donated by Leeds Playhouse every items carries a story and now plays a part in encouraging imagination, curiosity and child-led exploration.
Seeing these materials reused so creativity is exactly why The Hub exists and a huge thank you to Victoria for sharing her story with us!
